Sanctuaires

The Archaeology of Silence

Throughout the history of sentient life, dogmas are infinite. Yet, what they share is not the universal truth they seek to depict, but their eventual fate: to be forgotten and turned back into silence.

Sanctuaires
is a series of mixed-media dioramas exploring this archaeology of belief through the reconstruction of imaginary ruins.

Each work anchors itself to a central mineral—treated here not merely as a geological specimen, but as the silent relic of a long-extinct devotion. Rising around these stones are stark, black 3D-printed architectures: stairways to nowhere, shattered monoliths, and the skeletal remains of religious sites belonging to unknown civilizations.

These are suspended moments caught between ruin and reverence; microscopic worlds where time has stopped, preserving the echo of a prayer that no one remembers.
