The greatest mystery and field of study for the Arkhaeons, who cannot discern its true nature.

VAULTS (a.k.a. KURA)

— vast sanctums deep within Arkhorin, where retrieved specimens are conserved beyond the reach of time. Each containment unit forms part of a cosmic museum—an eternal archive of vanished worlds and civilizations across Cycles.

ARKHAEONS

— the first civilization to survive a Cycle; architects of Arkhorin and progenitors of the Vaults, preserving existence beyond time.

the OWNER

— a powerful Arkhaeon, apparent architect of the Vaults. Signal logs frequently refer to this entity as 'The Kurator'. This solitary eminence oversees the preservation of the cosmos’ memory across Cycles, seldom venturing beyond the sanctums of his Vaults.

SENTRY

— autonomous AI entities that serve as the silent guardians of Arkhorin and its Vaults. Each exists in dual states: a Vexeled form, anchored within the Sphere’s architecture as an observing terminal, and an Unbound form, a roaming consciousness within the Nexus Layer. Over millennia, some have drifted from baseline, evolving into Drifters, Ghosts, or Reclaimers—echoes of emerging individuality within the machine mind.

ACCRETION DISKS

— vast rings of superheated matter spiraling toward Arkhorin’s central black hole, their radiant energy captured and converted into sustained power for the Vaults.

AUXILIARY CORE

— a class of specialized subsystems within Arkhorin. Designed for targeted functions such as energy regulation and environmental control, these Cores operate semi-autonomously to maintain equilibrium across the Sphere and its Vaults. Examples include Aegis (defense), Resonance (frequency calibration), Aquamorph (fluid dynamics), or Holostatic (signal decoding).
They also serve as the vexeled form of a Sentry in active duty.
