Specimen 004 presents a humanoid face with a strikingly smooth, yet broken appearance. The central nose and mouth areas stand out, while the lifeless eyes give it an eerie, haunting quality. The entire specimen feels like a fragment from a larger sculpture, possibly from a long-lost civilization.
Specimen 004 prints in two parts: the base of the head and the detached face. The face can be securely glued onto the rectangular connector. No supports are needed for printing.

For added creativity, experiment with different top-fill patterns during printing. For Specimens, my favorites are Hilbert Curve and Concentric, but any pattern is possible.
Material choice and colors are flexible—PLA works well, but feel free to explore more exotic materials. If you’re printing with a nozzle size larger than 0.4mm, I recommend testing connection tolerances to ensure the best fit.
At the center of the Specimen is a 3mm hole with M3 hexa nut chamber for securing it to the Vexel (you can use glue instead, but I personally prefer screws). A print pause is required to insert the hex nut.
